Our mill is within easy reach of London taking only 2 hours by train from Paddington to Taunton. By road we are just a few miles off the M5 at junction 26.

Job Opportunities

Role: Dispatch and Stock Co-ordinator

Location: Wellington, Somerset Reporting to: Sales and Administration Manager Working hours: 37 hours per week usually Monday to Friday 7.45 to 4.30, however flexibility to meet demands of the business will be required. Salary: Hourly Paid Holidays: 22 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays, with 5 days needed over the Christmas and New Year Period.

Key Objectives: • Control all cloth stock (production, stock, retail and SoR). Along with security of completed pieces, to include maintaining stock records on TMS (our stock control system) in accordance with instructions. • Control all dispatch packaging and other raw material stocks, reordering in a timely manner. • Deal with all stock supported cloth cutting, stock control and dispatch. • Deal with the final inspection of all production pieces. • Maintain and organise all Fox supported and retail stock in an orderly manner, liaising with MD, Design and Operations. • Assist and work with Team on implementing controls for Stock movement.

Key Responsibilities: • Dealing with all finished pieces – from warehousing pieces being returned to the finishers, quality control to point of dispatch. • Log and record pieces being sent to the finishers ensuring that TMS is updated at point of pieces entering / leaving the mill, ensuring Finishers are advised of expected pieces prior to their arrival. • Lead, with the support of the Administration Team, in the dispatch of all completed cloth orders (both production and retail). • Ability to support Administrator with process dispatch requests, including processing of orders and relevant allocations/amendments. • Liaising with the production and admin team on an ongoing basis for order dispatch accuracy. • Other dispatch duties as requested (i.e dispatching for our sister company The Merchant Fox). • Assist as necessary with all stock take records including those at our sister company The Merchant Fox. • Undertake any other duties as may be required to assist in the smooth running of the business. • Support Administration with dispatch coordination via couriers etc.

The above responsibilities are by no means exhaustive and other duties will be required as business demands. Key skills required: • Organised, efficient and self-motivated. • Physically able (lifting max 25kg) • Strong communication skills, including the ability to carry out verbal instruction • Good understanding of IT/computers • Ability to priorities and handle multiple tasks.

Role: Warper (Textile Operative)

Location: Wellington, Somerset Hours of work: 39 hours

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a skilled warper to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for the production of high quality woollen and worsted warps ranging from 35 mtrs to 1,500 mtrs. Warps are made on Hattersley sectional warpers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Setting up the Hattersley sectional warper to each job • Producing warps to the correct specification • Safe running of machinery

This is the perfect role for someone who is good with their hands, who will enjoy working as part of the skilled team. Good time keeping and diligence are essential.

Training will be available, warping and knotting experience preferable.
