The Hayward Check

Having taken inspiration from the late Sir Roger Moore's jacket, featured in the motion picture 'The Man with the Golden Gun', this bold check features a typical English style, as well as a 1970's iconic look.

The cloth is made from Superfine Merino wool, woven using a fine single woollen spun yarn, milled during the finishing process to create the world renowned flannel, with a soft handle and superb drape. The milling process is pivotal in creating this classic West of England style cloth, by beating the wool fibres to break and fuse the soft fabric together. This very same process has been used to create the West of England design for approximately 250 years.

Featured in the bold and rich colour palette of red, black and ecru, on a light grey base. This quintessential West of England flannel at 400/430gr, is ideally suited to craft a sports jacket.
