Fox Brothers' does not have a retail shop. The best way to browse our collection is via our website, where you'll be able to see our current cloth collections. Alternatively, a sample cloth swatch can be ordered via the individual product page.

The following payment methods are accepted by the Merchant Fox: American Express, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta, MasterCard, Maestro UK, Maestro International, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payment by cash or cheque for online orders. Please note that American Express will seek authorisation directly from the cardholder before authorising us to deliver orders to an address other than the billing address.

In order to change the details of your order, you must notify Fox Brothers' within 12 hours. Please have the order number and date the order was placed to hand. As we endeavour to process orders immediately, after this time we are unable to amend your order and would request that you return the goods once they have been delivered.
You are able to track your parcel online by simply clicking the link shown on your confirmation of dispatch email.
After placing your order with Fox Brothers' you will be sent an email to acknowledge that we have received your order and when your item(s) will be ready for dispatch.
For UK orders, if our couriers are unable to obtain a signature they will attempt one further delivery on a later date. If this delivery attempt is also unsuccessful, a calling card will be left and your parcel will be returned to your local carriers depot or post office.

We regret that the delivery costs incurred in returning any items to Fox Brothers' will not be refunded, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods.

We work with a small number of manufacturers in Britain and the majority of our items come with a standard manufacturers' guarantee, although this will vary depending upon the manufacturer. Please telephone us in the first instance so that we can advise you further.

We collect and store this information to allow us to fulfil your orders and to occasionally send you special offers and product information. Fox continues to work with wool, creating new cloth collections based on historical designs from our archive, as well as modern and contemporary patterns. Combining traditional manufacturing processes with state-of-the-art design and technology, to create the very finest fabrics.

The Khaki colour was approved as part of The British Armed Forces military uniforms and patented by King Edward VII. Fox supplied over 8,000 miles of cloth to the British and Allied governments throughout WWI.

During the height of its output, Fox Brothers became one of the largest employers in the country. Subsidiary factories opened throughout the country, with over 5,000 individuals ensuring the smooth operation of the cloth production.

Thomas Fox’s plans came into fruition with the completion of Tonedale House. A move which saw the Fox family construct a Palladian Villa, adjacent to their relocated mill and perfectly situated next to the river Tone.

As the demand for wool grew, Thomas Fox partnered with his uncle Thomas Were, to help the woollen textile business flourish. Thomas travelled to study the woollen trade, before introducing a new company name and rebranded business model.
Fox is formed
The very first traces of our woollen business, can be documented all the way back to the Elizabethan era. During this time, Thomas Fox’s four times great-grandfather John Were, started to produce serge (cloth) from a small cottage in Wellington, Somerset.
