Fox Tweed : Built by Nature, Woven by Fox
Wool Month with Fox Brothers
Approx. read time: 1 minute
This October we are proud to support The Campaign for Wool and to celebrate the fibre that has been central to Fox Brothers for over 250 years. Tweed is one of the most distinctive cloths woven from wool, rooted in landscape, tradition and enduring practicality.
Fox Tweed is woven in Somerset with the same care and craftsmanship that has guided us since 1772. It carries the natural virtues of wool:
• Warmth and breathability in equal measure
• Naturally resilient and comfortable in all conditions
• Renewable and biodegradable, grown from grass-fed sheep
Fox Tweed is a cloth of character, built to be worn and to last. Its colour and texture are shaped by the landscape from which the wool comes, making it as suited to the countryside as it is to everyday wear.Throughout October, Fox Brothers will share features on the wonder of wool, its history, its natural benefits, and the heritage of the cloths we continue to weave in Somerset. We invite you to join us in celebrating Wool Month and the enduring story of wool.
