Hospitality, Tweed, Incredible Scenery and An E-Type
Hospitality, Tweed, Incredible Scenery and An E-Type... it can only be, The Tweed Rally.
Surrounded by vintage automobiles, sophisticated tweed ensembles, and exquisite Scotch whisky, the weekend paid homage to timeless design and traditional craftsmanship.
An event which took place late last year, in the natural playground of the Scottish Highlands. The Torridon Hotel served as an idyllic backdrop for the inaugural Tweed Rally. A family-owned and lovingly restored boutique resort, allowing one to forget their routine of everyday ventures, and retire to a life of peacefulness and tranquillity.
A true celebration of tweed and wool, organised by photographer and author Jamie Ferguson, in collaboration with John Sugden of Campbell's of Beauly and Matt Hranek from WM Brown, the intimate gathering welcomed around 30 distinguished guests from the menswear community.
The trip required packing up the suitcase for just about every eventuality. It's no wonder Scotland is often referred to as Land of the Brave... especially with its treacherous and bitter cold conditions at times!
However, even though it was on the chiller side, this did not stop everyone from enjoying the events of the Tweed Rally, especially with the right attire.
Our managing Director, Mr Cordeaux, opted to take with him The Fox Sporting Gilet and The Bracken Brown Crew Neck Woollen Sweater, as part of his trusty go-to pieces. Browse the collection at The Merchant Fox →
